How We Make Money

Whether our helplines are connecting you with a government agency, a non-profit outreach center, or a privately-funded help center, many times these groups have room in their budget to build awareness. We may receive compensation for connecting callers with their services whether they become a client of the service center or not.

Our recommendations are objective and work for the reader first. We adhere to that part of the Hippocratic Oath, “First Do No Harm”. This is why we perform background checks on service providers who apply to be in our network. We hold them to a standard of customer service. If they should ever run into a problem with industry compliance or reputation challenges, we will cease connecting callers with them. If readers have had any issues with any of our service providers, we encourage you to let us know, so we can have a closer look.
